Alphys never saw the point in make-up, as she’s always preferred not to meet with people in person, when it can be avoided. She experimented with it briefly upon reaching the human world, but found there weren’t any brands with a formulation for her scale tone… so she hasn’t bothered learning how to use it properly.

Video games are something else entirely. She has excellent hand-eye coordination and lots of patience, making her naturally adept at most games. The only ones she’s truly bad at are games like DDR which rely on the player’s athleticism. Her favourite game genres are RPGs, visual novels, and shooters (especially bullet hell shooters).

As for hygiene, Alphys… could be better. She cleans up quite well, but when she’s not expecting company, she tends to let herself go. It doesn’t help that her sense of smell is not terribly good.

Alphys’ scales turned an odd orange-pink as a goofy smile creased her face.

“... gosh, he’s such a cute kid! I really have to keep paying attention to him...”
