“Nuh-uh,” says Gold, shaking his head. “You’re crazy. I’m not doing that.”
“Gee, wi’ all th’ stuff Krys has told me ya’ve done, I’da thought you’d be all for this.” Sapphire says, hands on her hips. The two PokeDex Holders are in Fortree City, and Sapphire is attempting to get Gold to swing across to another set of treehouses.
“That’s different,” Gold snaps. “That stuff I did because I had to.”
Sapphire grins evilly. “’Had ta’, huh? In tha’ case… I dare ya!”
Gold flinches. He’s never backed down from a dare before, and he’s not about to start now. He grabs the vine from Sapphire, takes a deep breath, and launches himself across…
.. and then forgets to let go at the other end. Eventually his momentum comes to a halt, and he’s stuck hanging over the ground, all of his limbs wrapped tightly around the vine.
“Yer a right mess, ya know that?” Sapphire says, having Troppy cut the vine with Razor Leaf as well as catching the hapless Johto Trainer.
