Trying to go ahead and get this set up and ready to go, before I totally collapse too.
Don't really feel like it tonight, of course, but I know I will be mad at myself whenever I do get up if I do not.
Mr. C helpfully picked it up in advance, like last week. Along with the kettle and a few other kitchen basics we needed on this end. Just brought them straight here to the new place, where they belonged.
(Not the exact same model as this one, but in the same series and with pretty much the same features.)
Relevant parts well washed, and running a couple of loads of water through the works before I actually use it for coffee later! ☕
I actually picked the Wilfa Performance partly because of its handy removable water tank, which you can just pull off to fill up. Counting that as an accessibility feature for my wheelie ass! The whole filter basket assembly also lifts up and off that funky hanging arm, so it's easy to maintain and clean. All the removable parts can just go through the dishwasher, too, as necessary.
Plus, those are supposed to make some pretty good coffee. Guess we'll see after I get up! Not sure where to set the drip basket outflow adjustment starting out, but guessing the safest bet is somewhere in the middle. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Again, we'll see how that does, and adjust from there to taste.
