regarding bastille;

okay hello everybody! so it is currently 8:46pm where I am, its been raining all day so the city has a nice glossy sheen to everything and all the neon signs are on. I am pulled over writing this because I am listening to “quarter past midnight” by bastille and im crying.

I just want to get my thoughts out there and write these emotions down. I dont know why but, for some reason, Bastille’s music has this quality about it where I feel hyper-active and electric. It feels like there is static and adrenaline flowing through my veins effortlessly. It feels like I am alive. It feels like I can conquer my demons and do anything and everything. It is the closest feeling I have every experienced to true, unadulterated happiness.

I jusy adore Bastille and this new song and can’t wait for the mew music!

okay, I’ll stop my rant now lol.

Million Pieces by Bastille, live at Sportpaleis Antwerpen. This was my last gig of the Still Avoiding Tomorrow Tour, and it was absolutely amazing. This song is my favourite part of the set, so I just had to record it ♥️
