Or attempted to disrupt while police shunted them away, most people didn’t notice them, the parade continued regardless and it sounds like everyone there for the right reasons had a nice time.

Gilded Age Impression

I need to go back and rewatch things carefully, but I kinda have this mental impression that Oscar is a bit.......food motivated? Like, if there is food or drink in the vicinity, the boy has it in his hand and is sipping or crunching. Of course, the only actual time I clearly remember this in any faintly-comment-worthy manner (ie: he's not at a meal or having a drink after getting home, etc.) is in season two when he comes for tea right after George is finished with him and they bring in the cake and he is immediately kind of "YAY CAKE!" and honestly that could just be Comfort Food.

But.

there's a new georgian bakery in my town. i went there as i was in the area, got a huge piece of garlic bread. it was too big for me to eat on the go, i put it in my backpack (it barely fit in, stuff was longer than my arm) wrapped safely and .. the scent got Everywhere ? granted i have imparied sense of smell so it must have been very fragnant... i was walking around town for hours... running errands.. smelling like garlic farm idk
