Guys drop your Will and Mike headcanons in the comments, I'm bored!!!!
In my head university will graham only had 2 friends that he was also dating and living with and it worked because splitting a relationship between 3 ppl is less overwhelming than just 2 especially with his empathy disorder. They eventually broke up cause they grew up to be really different ppl but they remained on friendly terms.
Incoming HC ask for Will if that's okay! As a type specialist, how do you feel about people who actively choose to not specialize in a particular type (think like Red/Blue/Green, Cynthia, etc.)? Have you ever considered about expanding from your type specialty before? If so, what made you choose not to pursue that?
"To be honest, choosing not to specialize in one type is a wise move in some respects. When you have a type specialty, it is easier to exploit the common type weaknesses your team has, namely because all, or nearly all of your team share them. If you diversify, you eliminate this problem to a degree, and it leaves you guessing what is to come next.
It's also challenging in that you need to know about many types in order to better care for, and raise your team. I applaud those who do this.
As for expanding from my type, I have already done this to an extent. There is a reason I prefer having all dual types over purely psychic types; a lot of the dual types I use are rarely used by others, and it adds more variety and more of a challenge. Not only do you have to content with the power of psychic types, you also need to take into account the secondary typing. This is not unlike battling a trainer who doesn't specialize in one particular type.
Outside of that, I have no plans to completely remove myself from training and raising psychic type pokemon. As a human with psychic powers of my own, there is a special bond and connection I have with my pokemon that I can't cultivate and replicate with others outside of my type. It is, if I may be so bold to say as such, a natural fit to be paired with a type that I have much in common with. It takes a psychic to understand a psychic; it is hard for anyone who is not to understand those of us who are, for we do not share the same experiences and struggles, or powers and abilities. This is true for me, at least, and why I can never fully stray from my chosen typing."
Do you headcanon Will as being an only child mamas boy? Or oldest in a huge family kinda thing?
fanfiction and other stuff..
hello! hi!
i’ve dabbled in a little bit of fanfiction writing for will over the last few weeks and i’m aiming to post a couple in the next week or so but i just thought i’d put it out there that i also like to discuss headcanons and small situations/scenarios between him and the reader and if that’s something people are into then my inbox is open to receive anything you want to chat about...
if you maybe wanted to check out what my style of writing is/what kind of writing/requests i can do then you can check it out over on my main blog to get a rough idea? @secret-rendezvous1d. xx
Will headcanon time, which is just reposting my ramblings from twitter!
One thing I noticed about Will: Even if he knows others can see the future, and if he can glimpse it through his pokemon, he doesn't hold it as something set in stone. He even says that you still need to work towards the future you want, and that it can even change. "We may be able to forecast the future, but it is up to us to be able to pave the way to it!" - Right from his sync pair story. He also says that to see too far ahead into the future would take the fun out of things. (also in his sync pair story dialogue)
I like that.
Like I can imagine that any psychic who has the ability to see the future could become complacent, and to an extreme, despondent/hopeless/indifferent because "I already know what is going to happen." But not Will. "Yes. If you stop trying because you know the answer, it may change your future." - A quote from Will in Masters.
Even if Will were to suddenly have the ability to see into the future, he would still go for what he wanted, and even change it if he had to.
tl;dr: While Will likes to have glimpses of the future, he doesn’t let them take control, nor does he heavily depend on them. He likes surprises and to see if the future pans out in the glimpses he gets from Xatu. He also strives to work towards the future he wants and believes that it won’t simply come to pass just because you saw it.
((Late to the party but!
My Will identifies as gay, and while he is not completely out to the public about it yet, he also won’t hide it if people ask. He sees no shame in his sexuality and doesn’t want people to make a big deal out of it or make it out to be the only thing about him.
For his gender identity I have him as cis, but he doesn’t mind anyone using they/them or other gender neutral pronouns.))
