Supporters Vs. Opposition
You know what's awesome? When you finally embrace your purpose; supporters, and opposition have both fulfilled their roles (as long as you are viewing the larger picture). Let's take a closer look.
Supporters have done what they have always done. They've supported you. They have done this even when you haven't noticed it. They are truly inspiring. They are the ones that words can't describe; you can only nod your head, and be thankful that you have had the pleasure of having crossed paths with them.
Opposition. 😂🤣😂... They are funny. They have a purpose too. Yes, they have discouraged with their sideways jokes, and encouraging curve balls (check out the videos I have made on them). Still, they serve a purpose. They have helped you to see who they are - even though they tried to fool you with, " I was just joking!". Oh yeah, and one of my favorites, " I'm real!! You didn't know?! I tell it how it is!". That second comment is partially true, because they have found a way to tear down with words, but think they are... 🤔😏 Clever?-- in labeling their destructive talk. This is not to be confused with constructive criticism (I've made a video on this as well). Either way you should be looking for healthy ways to overcome either case... Let me help... Just a little.
Know what you can discuss with them. Let them help you build resilience for even more destructive talk down the road. In other words use it as fuel for you to cross the finish line in meeting your goals.
Know how to move with both of these types of people. Supporters are gonna support, even if it is for a brief moment in your life. Opposition will let you know where they stand (no matter how much they try to disguise it).
At the end of the day it is up to you to see your dreams through. Others will be who they are, and they contribute what they contribute - for better, or worse. It's up to you to fulfill your purpose. Utilize what you can use to your benefit; the rest... I am sure you can find some way to use what they give you. I will help you again... Some people are good examples of what not to do. A good friend taught me that.
