stumbling across the social media accounts of people i knew growing up in my culty fundamentalist church community and lost contact with, and seeing that they’re now going to pride parades or using a new name or posting bikini pics or cutting their hair short (or wearing it long) or not going to church anymore and my whole heart exhales a little and it’s just like you made it out!!!!! you made it out of there!!!!! we both made it out!!!!
