TAZ Royale theory: There’s going to be a necromancer character who at the beginning as each entrant shows off their main spell, all they do is make themself glow magically. It’s not that impressive but it’s at least better than a wizard or two who couldn’t make their magic work. They don’t get eliminated and manage to make it through the game for a while. Eventually the difficulty of the game does catch up to them and they are killed off. Cut to a few episodes later when the delayed casting of raise dead (or animate dead) goes off, the one they cast in episode one, and they come back to the game because they’re technically not dead anymore.
