— Perhaps it was fate he caved in, he always was a paranoid man since he was a young prince

— His arm that's encased with ice is severely frostbitten, along with the left of his face as well, and struggles to feel other temperatures unless if it's extreme

— He was a kind ruler before he caved into the voices, doing anything he could to protect his people, it's why his knights still stayed so loyal to him

— Once he caved, the Icedagger affected him greatly, impacting his memory

— He still feels guilty for the years of torment he caused for Blackrock, he never wanted to do anything like that to his people

— Even though he was forgiven, he still feels unworthy of all the kindness he's received, still viewing himself as the tyrant he was

— He connects the ice covering him to what the voices made him into, and tends to cover his arm so it won't be shown
