I'm an artist and I started writing fanfics recently! I hope to publish more of them, as well as interact with people and their work :] I'm really excited to make more friends!! <3

Currently I post about Dispatch because it's been consuming my brain. So many fic and art ideas it's crazy

the trick about getting invested and confident in ur own concepts is to surround urself with other likeminded artists who are down to earth. i know nowadays especially people think "indie" and they think undertale or glitch pilots and they have paved the way for great things but i mean like. engage with your friends comics theyve been posting to an audience of 20-30 people. The people who are genuinely at your level with you. Who are working on their projects on the side because they still have a full time job to attend to. who go on long hiatuses because theyre in college and are crunching for tests at the moment.

maybe one day youll have all the resources you want to create your stories exactly how you imagine it at the speed you want it to be done, but until you get there you'll find so many people working with the same resources and available time that you have, and its about that network of small artists being able to support each other that can light a spark that you thought you needed an audience of hundreds to light.

He cannot linger long enough for regret to take hold: The corpse is already gone, whisked away by Track Star in desperation.

All that remains is a pool of blood, warm to the touch.

That should be the end of it. He needs to leave. Needs to run. Lay low. Disappear.

But a small hand tugs at his coat and a quiet voice asks him, "Did Dad... did he yell at you, too? Did you... want to hurt him back? To make him... stop."

Oh, you sweet naive child. Forget about the Astral Pulse, you are his now.

The boy knows enough that it would be better to lie, to stretch the truth, until they can both take cover beneath Mecha Man's sacrifice.

What are you doing, Elliot?

He tosses the football and snorts at the way the giant mech dives for it. The pilot has complete and utter control over variables like timing, grip strength, and return trajectory. Shroud steps two steps to his right, holds out his hands, and catches the pigskin as if they were doing Sunday barbecue.

"You're awfully proud of yourself, Robert. Figured out how to take a hostage without popping them like a pimple?"

The pilot dives through the air, catches the football, and grunts as he activates the thrusters before he topples over in a heap of metal limbs.

"Oh, don't tempt me, Dad, I might get a little trigger-happy if they've a mouth."

What will you do, Elliot?

"Flam-bae? How long did it take you to come up with that one?"

"Shut the fuck up, Mantle, you're under arrest, bitch, it's time you acted like it."

The irony of the name is not lost upon either of them. Never has been, never will be. Flambae feels a weird sort of obligation to his late hero to do something about his wayward son.

"Oh, please, Chad. This is like the third time you've 'caught' me. What makes you think it's gonna stick?"

"Because Conners, you're gonna lead us right to Shroud's base of operations."

But if you're looking for good fics to read, few that I've read recently and loved are i can feel your phantom limbs, too, Not Entirely A Bitch or Something (both Mechabae) and spiraling origin of abnormal starbursting blue!! Absolutely amazing works <3

current obsession: Dispatch. You probably didn't notice, I'm being very subtle about it. Galen, Coupé and Elliot especially.

currently working on: So many things,, But mostly trying to work on outlining my time loop fic, writing a Coupé sickfic and having fun with some AUs. Vigilante/villain (the name doesn't convey it well but idk what to call it yet) one being the main one. But I also am thinking about Coupé seamstress AU, or other smaller alternate scenarios rather than full on AUs :]
