You saw the Death Eater go in, the flash of light, and then Andromeda emerge with wild eyes, just dropping the mudblood’s hands. You lost sight of her, but not before you understood what you had seen.
And since?
Your engagement was not intended to be announced until the following winter, but the scandal of Andromeda fighting had to be drowned out by evidence of her loyalty. Not even Andromeda knows the secret you are protecting for her. She wears your ring and someday she’ll carry your name. That means you will stand by her, scandal or no.
