part of the reason that i read and fucking love classic literature is because i could be struggling with something personally and then ill read a book that was written like 300 years ago and then find that the writer or a character went through the exact same thing. and its hauntingly beautiful that this will be the only thing that ever connects me with this author or character

William Wordsworth (April 7, 1770 – April 23, 1850), was an early leader of romanticism in English poetry. His greatest work was “The Prelude” – dedicated to Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The years 1797 to 1808 are now recognized as the best years of Wordsworth known as his Great Decade. During this time, he wrote some of his most famous poems including Tintern Abbey, Ode: Intimations of Immortality, Daffodils and parts of his autobiographical epic, The Prelude.
