My fav bits:

Bringing back "love is the most powerful thing in the universe"

Jade "and who's protecting Kit? I do!" And jumping without hesitation as we all thought she would

Kits wyrm happy ending being with Jade 😍

Jade asking for Kits help by yelling "a little help princess" - I love it when she calls her princess

The humour this episode was great - especially Boorman

Kit hearing her dad say he's proud of her 😭 and him telling her that she's is Elora's protector, her sword and shield, I love that (and Boorman telling her she's the one)

Kit and Jade mirroring each other the entire episode (same facial expressions/banter)

KIT SAVING JADE THE SAME WAY JADE SAVED KIT IN THE BEGINNING

Kit in the cuirass is just 😍 and it's so bad ass - especially with the second sword like that was cool

Jade proper smiling at Kit in the cuirass cus girl knows it's hot

Kit loving the cuirass and I doubt she'll ever take it off lol

Graydon you poor thing... He'll now get corrupted by the wyrm instead

They better renew this for a season 2, I thoroughly enjoyed this and need to see more of protector Kit and her Knight (I was going to say shining armour, but Kit's got that shining armour now lol)

The Willow finale wasn't my favorite episode of the bunch but that final scene? Graydon alive? The parallel to Willow's vision? Evil Elora?? The two-headed dragon from the movie showing up in the background??? The slow, swelling transition from somber orchestral score to Dire Straits????

Pure cinema.

Babygirl thoughts on Willow finale!!!!!????

Ok.so many thoughts.

First of all, I need more seasons of this.I need them.ASAP.

Graydon lives.Airk also lives.Neither turned evil.Yay! Also very happy that it was Kit and not Elora pulling Airk out in the end, I was looking forward to seeing more of their dynamic.(also that flashback 🥺 ) Very good use of the Kymerian Cuirass legend as well- Airk is the eldest,possessed!Airk wanting the throne, Kit winning the battle thanks to the cuirass- all very neat parrallels.And then Kit subverts it when she Doesn't kill Airk.Good stuff.

Speaking of which, I think the cuirass might be something of a cursed artifact.Think about it.Thuul kills Tiberius (I think those were their names?).Two of Madmartigan's companions wind up killed, allegedly due to something Allagash did.Allagash and Boorman fight over the cuirass, betray Madmartigan ( whom Allagash called his brother and who was close with Boorman) fight over the cuirass again, Allagash gets killed....hmmm.And it did get lost somehow.Kymeria is gone as well despite the cuirass being "a shield against evil"...highly suspect.Maybe Kit broke the circle when she spared her brother.Maybe Boorman did when he gave it up willingly.Maybe not.

BTW pretty sure the lux arcana stabbed Kit in the heart.Is Kit ironman now? I have questions.

Poor Graydon can't catch a break huh.I think he stands a pretty good chance, smart as he is, but Dark! Elora did manage to hit a lot of the right buttons in that speech.Also I feel that Graydon is more likely to believe he's been abandoned than Airk was due to his self esteem issues. I'm worried.I hope Madmartigan will help him out if he's there.I need someone to adopt Sad Angry Frown Prince. (Unless Madmartigan is in that sword Kit found? Movie Madmartigan didn't seem overly attached to his weapons, but that thing did have an awful lot of runes on it, and Possessed! Ark was definitely interested in it.)

Graydon/Elora/ Airk is still my OT3. But they all need A Lot of therapy and hugs first.Tanthamore is Excellent as usual.Willow was really on point in this episode.

I feel we need a cameo of Boorman's mum now.

I'd also like to see what's been going on with Sorsha.Because I like her, but also because I 100% don't trust King Hastur.At the very least, he wants to take over Tir Asleen, meaning he's very much Not interested in the return of the True Empress.Also I hope they'll elaborate some more on what happened to Dermot, and also maybe some on Boorman's past (why does the king want his son to kill some random criminal? Sabotage?) And/or Madmartigan's backstory as well, since he was strongly implied to be from Galladoorn in the movie.

Overall, I liked this episode.4 and 7 are still my faves, and the pacing is a bit odd at times, but it's good.

every day i become more anxious for the willow finale. it’s going to devastate me, i just know it. i love this cast of characters so much. i will never be the same if any single one of them dies. and i don’t want it to end. i’m gonna need at least five seasons of this chaos to feel content with it ending and even then i know i’ll still be upset about it. i need the willow show to go on forever and also for none of them to die.

Spoilitos for Willow Finale

So I made a bunch of predictions yesterday for funsies, and they were all wrong! Mostly! Which is great, and the finale was a hoot. Alright, let’s embarrass myself.

SPOILERS SERIOUSLY OH NOOOO

Prediction 1: “Kissing: Elora and Airk. Probably Kit and Jade again. Maybe Boorman and Willow, we’ll see.”

Super wrong. Elora and Airk came closest. I definitely didn’t predict Boorman/Graydon or Boorman/Jade, which almost happened (they didn’t almost happen). Airk/Gooey Crone was definitely not on my list.

Prediction 2: “Boorman uses the Cuirass but it only activates at appropriately dramatic moments, restoring his faith in himself.“

Wrong with the activation of the Cuirass, sort of right about the Cuirass “restoring faith in himself.” Just kinda did it backward, but it worked, and Iron-Kit was rad.

Prediction 3: “Deaths: Graydon and Airk feel like they're the most in danger. Second tier of danger would be Boorman or Jade (though I doubt they'd do the "Bury Your Gays" with Jade). Everyone else is either safe or only open to a fakeout death that can be reversed. “

Graydon and Airk almost kicked it, with Graydon getting the closest shave. Boorman then got the most death flags after them, so I was right about the likelihood but wrong about anyone actually dying. Also right about the fakeout deaths being reversed with the “turning to stone” stuff.

Prediction 4: “Needle Drop:  'Don't Stop Believin'," as some CGI / stand-in / silhouette of Madmartigan is revealed at a dramatic moment. Credits.”

This was, admittedly even at the time, a long shot. I guessed this based off Lucasfilm’s love affair with CGI golems, and I’m happy to be wrong on this one.

I’m still not sure that Dire Straits song didn’t feel like an odd choice, but the opening guitar riff and the visual of the rising army kicked ass for sure.

Anyway, the finale rocked, I too would like to go out “naked and kicking ass,” and for Volume 2 and 3 LET’S GOOOOOO

Kit: No idea, I feel like her character arc ended last episode which makes me really worried.
