I don’t know why no one else hears the booms??? The booms! They’re in the sky, I think. The earth doesn’t make that sound…the booms are carried on the air. Somewhere up there beyond the blue an ancient civilization watches over us…revelling in their titan experiment. There is no devil, there is no deal, only aliens. And the lead one, their leading scientist…is in Eren Jaeger. I know it. I can feel it. They can’t fool me. NONE CAN FOOL THE MIND OF WILLY TYBUR AT IT’S PEAK KNOWINGNESS! Aliens.

What has surprised you the most about chapter 100? And was there anything unexpected?

I thought for sure we’d see a hint of the survey corps or even just a clear glimpse of a familiar face. I thought for certain Isayama would give us that so I was very surprised when he didn’t.

Most unexpected for me was the death of Willy Tyber. I expected him to die, just not so quickly and certainly not as a willing participant! Looking back at his nervousness before the performance and his role as stated in chapter 95, maybe i should’ve have been so unexpected.

Hi mom! Maybe someone already pointed out this, but is it just a mere random fact that all the actors from Tybur's play are blindfolded, so the full face can't be seen? I thought it could be a bit suspicious

Suspicious AND Dramatic! I’m telling you, Willy’s talents are wasted as the War Hammer. This guy was born for the theater and I cannot wait to see this animated! We have shadow puppets, people!

Besides adding drama, the blindfolds were likely a symbolic nod to the mental darkness of the people that resulted from the lies they’d been told. But it also makes for a super convenient way to hide the identities of the actors. We’ll find out soon if our suspicion about the cast members are true!

Dear Momtaku, I want to discuss Willy's Hammer titan identity with you. I don't understand why some people believe that Willy is not the hammer titan, and I don't think Willy will die here. Yet there is always hypothesis that the woman in black or the tall royal soldier is the hammer titan. What do you think?

The strongest evidence that Willy is NOT the War Hammer is this: Magath fears for Willy’s life. 

If Willy were a powerful titan shifter, Magath would know that Willy would be able to regenerate and defend himself during an attack. Instead Magath tells Willy, “If you go ahead with this, you will die.”

I just took a peek at this month’s chapter poll. So far 72% believe someone other than Willy is the War Hammer Titan. I agree. 

As far as the true identity of the War Hammer, since the tall body guard and the woman in black are clearly visible just off stage, they are as good a guess as any. Willy is was the head of the Tyber family. As such, it makes sense that the War Hammer would be nearby to protect him
