Rewatched FHBM for Mal’s art event (which coincidentally ended yesterday), and of course, the brainworms for vaguely Failtopia-related content took over for more than just the fanart and fanfic. Round two of the text post nonsense for this game, now venturing slightly further into spoiler territory because it’s been longer since the game released. as much as the writing in Legacy Of The Scythe was kinda bad, I genuinely think that the whole thing with the Blue Dragon Not-Possessing Wincar and how that actually worked is really cool when you fully understand what Dan was going for…

Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but even if the Blue Dragon or Failwhale didn’t do anything, Wincar and C!Fail’s relationship would’ve been kinda doomed for a while regardless, the events of LOS after The Competition just kinda speedran it a bit. Thankfully things seemed to have gotten better for them after the Rapper Failboat Arc, but still… ough.
