Oh wow that makes me hella mad. I just sent an email myself.
yes yes! good, maybe if everyone does & they receive a lot of complains, they change it back to normal!
wincest2spooky replied to your post:my dash hasn’t even updated yet but i’m so angry...
What did the new update do? I’m on mobile right nw and won’t see the change till I get off wrk
i cant give you the exact details bc my dash hasn't updated yet but basically they changed the entire layout of the dashboard and changed the gifsizes, that means every gif we've ever made now looks super weird and crappy and not to mention if you go onto your blog, because themes aren't made for these sizes.
IT SUCKS. i've sent an email to [email protected] explaining why i - and many others - don't like it. so i'm waiting for a response...
wincest2spooky replied to your post “lol but why is dean needing to take a case reminding me of that fic...”

The angels were very aware of Sam and Dean's relationship-it's why they are to a degree the modern day michael and lucifer also Cain and Abel. The memories were toyed with specifically to drive them apart. Brothers that loved each other (cont)
And betrayed each other. Zachariah said himself Sam and Dean are psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent on each other, right? The angels were aware or their bond and tried their hardest to break it- for to turn on one another like (cont)
Like Michael and Lucifer
Of course Sam is going to defend them- Dean looked like he wanted an explanation a reason to why sam's heaven looked like that. Sam always defended his dislike for hunting. His heaven was no different; but I truly believe that (cont)
That if his memories were Not tampered w/ his heaven would've included dean too, like dean's included him.
I know they're aware of the bond, but Zachariah hates humans, hated even being on earth around them. So I don't feel like he'd have much interest in interpersonal relationships, other than to the extent that they were in his way. He would have to understand the dynamics of the brothers pretty well to know to make Dean's about Sam and Sam's all about getting away. He was mostly a prick, not much of a detective, and not great at manipulation. I guess he manipulated Adam, with telling him Sam and Dean wouldn't care about him, and holding his mom over his head, but that was much less subtle then the memory manipulation we're talking about. Maybe you're right, it just seems a little above him. I also don't like that Sam's memories had no Dean, it doesn't really fit, he seemed so happy in the fireworks field and he has brought up positive childhood memories before.
But again, this isn't really about the memories, or how real they were, or how Sam felt about them. Of course it made sense for Sam to defend them, or try to explain, I'm not judging him for that. The issue I'm talking about is Dean's feelings about the whole thing, which are also understandable, and the effect it had on him. And also Sam's understanding and reaction to that. I was questioning why Sam responded that way. Which I sort of hashed out a little in the last response.
wincest2spooky replied to your post “The speech Sam made in 5x17, 99 Problems, about how he was white...”
the angels messed with Sam's heaven memories, in order to drive the brothers apart.
See I know lots of people think that, but we don't know one way or the other for sure. We only know that Zachariah messed with the last memory, which was of his own creation really, because he intercepted them on the way to the garden. Before that he was looking for them, which would seem to indicate he wasn't in control, unless it was a ruse and he was just toying with them. I would like for it to be true. But that would also indicate an understanding of the boys relationship that I don't think the angels had, which is why they thought they could get them as Michael and Lucifer.
But whether Zach was toying with them isn't the point in this case, it only matters what the boys believe. It didn't seem like they saw all the memories as Zach's construct. And even if they did, Sam had explanations for why each one would be his heaven. He defended them as some of his best memories, and was clearly enthusiastic at least about the flagstaff memory. So the damage was already done. If it was Zach messing with them it clearly worked, because it really was the last straw to break Dean's belief in their old you-and-me-against-the-world relationship. And we saw Dean say basically that right before Zach spotlighted them. So I just don't get why Sam would move past that convo so quickly, doing nothing to boost Dean or repair that damage but instead just telling him, "You have to be strong, because I'm falling apart too so you have to be strong for me".
He saw Dean break already so it was too late for that, that needed to be repaired so they could go back to being strong for each other. I think Sam didn't really get it because Dean wasn't the thing he was holding on to for strength. It helped, but Sam is much more independent than that. Sam is more self-centric (I don't mean self-centered). I think his real anchor was guilt over his part in setting the apocalypse off, and determination to do things right from then on. I think it was a mix of that and his role as little brother, which created the subconscious belief that Dean will always be there when Sam says I NEED this from you, that caused him to give this speech instead of addressing what Dean was feeling.
This got really off topic and turned into just a further explanation of my post and I'm sorry that only the first part is relevant to your reply and my only defense is that it is 2am and I am meant to be doing paperwork and this is more fun.
