Wind River (2017)
Атмосферный, размеренный, холодный… ❄️ Но такая развязка прям в лоб, как-то не вайб вообще было 🥴

It always puzzles me when people think Yellowstone is right-leaning. All of Sheridan's works dealing with Native Americans fall pretty firmly on the Land Back side of things.
Day 294 of posting the first Ian Bohen photo that Pinterest recommends.
The fact that Bohen gets such recognition with this movie, shows the amount of performance impact he has considering he's in it for less than 15 minutes.
“Fuck you, let’s go”
Top 5 Jon Bernthal Films
Some actors have a recognizable look immediately which can draw audiences to remember them quicker. Jon Bernthal is one of those people and it has led to him having a pretty remarkable career because of it in the long run. With his new thriller series His and Hers dropping January 8th on Netflix I wanted to take a look back at his most iconic film and television roles to date. Let’s start with his film performances.
5. Johnny Soprano- The May Saints of Newark- The Sopranos already had an amazing following so when we got treated to a prequel film about Young Tony, adding Jon to the mix made it even more enticing. Of course he did not disappoint bringing more life to the already amazing lore that surrounds the most recognized crime family in the last two decades. Bernthal adds an intensity to roles like this that is very necessary.
4. Matt Rayburn- Wind River- Bernthal has a small role here but it is a very important one that adds the sadness this film required to be poignant. This is what supporting actors do best. Come in and do what is necessary and elevate the final product to new heights. Seeing Bernthal elevate a film of this nature truly shows what he is capable of and why amazing performances don’t always need to have a plethora of screen time.
3. Terrence Swaino- Small Engine Repair- Bernthal absolutely crushes this role as do John Pollono and Shea Whigham. They are three co-leads one could say as the film relies on each of them to play ⅓ of a trio who wants to exact revenge but has no idea how to and ends up making things worse. It works because the story is simple, someone hurts someone you love and anger takes over. Those three men embody that perfectly and Bernthal gets another solid role on the resume.
2. Rick Macci- King Richard- The Williams sisters are world renowned athletes that have been in the sports spotlight for the better part the last 20 years. While the subject matter of the film centers around their father Richard, there are key players in their rise to fame that needed to be portrayed. Bernthal has the task of portraying Coach Rick Macci and he does so with more nuance than most of his other quick or in your face roles. He relies on his dramatic chops and really shines bright.
1. Grady Travis- Fury- This is the most raw and authentic performance of Bernthal’s carrer. It’s the film that put him on my radar and he alongside his castmates deliver a thrilling war story. Anchored by solid acting from the cast, Travis is the brash and arrogant of the crew which allows Bernthal to become the villain type even among the good guys. It is a truly captivating performance held down by some of the best talents working in the industry and Bernthal stands tall among them.
