i didn’t draw any new cats today (i didnt draw anything today) but i remembered this like half-comic from a couple weeks ago ... i wrote this out for realsies, too, but thats never seeing the light of day

anyway. sorrelpaw follows windbelly out of the camp in the middle of the night, + she finds him out prancing in a field w/ a warrior from another clan (dun dun dun)

these are my warriors ocs since i lost my mind a couple days ago and joined like 4 different rps instead of doing my character final anyway i love them + im gonna talk abt them under the cut 

adderslip + birdpaw were made for the same rp, which is based in some kind of rainforest? the predators are jaguars. anyways. adderslip is an elder who is still super passionate about the wellbeing of the clan even though shes old and jaded and her bones hurt. she loves telling stories and she’s also really good at it. her temper is basically 0 because she’s old and cant be fucked to be angry about small shit, and she really loves younger cats. it doesn’t matter if youre like 3 moons younger you are a Little Baby. birdpaw is a rambunctious young lesbian who thinks she’s hot shit and gets on everyones’ nerves. she’s also super into being The Best warrior like shes here to win. she’s in it for the guts and the glory, she wants to be the leader but she has a long way to go because she’s not a team player and she’s too busy showing off and peacocking to actually pay attention during training and learn the moves learn how to read an opponent and how to strat. 

loudpaw was made for an rp where a small, sickly clan starts invading the territory of a larger pre-existing clan and trying to force them out. the small clan has been traveling to find new territory for a very long time, and loudpaw is only 7 moons old so he doesn’t remember anything before the traveling, and he’s watched Quite A Few of his clanmates die on the journey. he’s very. is the word patriotic? hes very loyal to his clan, and due to his rigorous and terrible upbringing he’s willing to do anything to make sure theyre safe, even trying to take out a whole nother clan. he’s also a notorious scatterbrain.

beetlepaw was made for a desert setting? their clan structure is a little bit different, but basically he’s a warrior apprentice who can swim and fight because he’s hefty but he’s not as fast because he sinks further into the sand. his mother died of a disease shortly after he became an apprentice (he’s 10 moons now) and he got Really Serious about Being Serious afterwards, so he’s very by-the-book. he’s nonreligious. 

stormfoot was made for an rp where the clan is just settling into new territory. he’s got an angry face but he’s actually very nice and cheerful. he’s very eager to please and does his best. he’s just also very clumsy and he’s hurt himself performing simple tasks many many times. he’s on very casual terms with the medicine cat because he fucking sucks at everything. he does get his job done though.

i haven’t actually used windbelly yet but he’s a Sad Boy who had an affair w a cat outside of his clan and Absolutely Doesnt Care How Illegal That Is because fuck the rules is why. 

honorable ment.: she’s not a warrior but i made a rogue character for the same rp as stormfoot named pepper and she was a kittypet until her people abandoned her when they moved out of state and she’s been looking for a place to live that isnt lively twolegplace central because thats Really Annoying. she keeps stepping on the clan’s tails and whenever they ask her to leave she decides she’s going to stay a few more days. she’s sarcastic and her humor is very dry, but she’s honest.

ngl i love the "-step" suffix n i wished it got used more in the canon series. also. loudove. i'm love... but, going off ur last answer, if you were to merge all your wc ocs into one clan, what kinda setting would it be in? any of your ocs destined to be antagonizing or outright villains?

i need to like, stop myself from using the -step suffix for everything its so good 

im not sure what the setting would be. temperate? probably a forest, because im super into that kind of setting w animals. somewhere not far from people, because then the different breeds i have thrown in wouldnt be too out of nowhere

none of my characters are antagonists at this point, then again ive got like. seven fleshed out. i should make some, gee. i can see windbelly being an antagonist, if not outright a villain. he’s very bitter and a little fed up w the code, so he’s the problem child right now. 

and if i were to merge their stories i’d keep loudpaw’s situation basically the same – cats from another clan who traveled p far to get to a new home, still ragged and messed up. maybe the clans fight for a little while before realizing that it can’t go on and that to save lives they should just absorb the smaller clan into theirs. he’d def have some Trust Issues, but he’d phase out of an antagonistic role over time
