Windows96 - Geometry
this is my tumblr page. I can do what the fuck I want. therefore, I'm going to list my favorite musical artists and my favorites from them. for no reason. but check them out maybe <3 BELOW CUT. BE PREPARED FOR A BIG WALL
Squarepusher: tracks Abacus 2, Beep Street, Ultravisitor, Detroit People Mover and My Red Hot Car (Girl) specifically but his entire catalogue is incredible Aphex Twin: all of his albums and EPs, including his unreleased and alter-ego stuff. favorites off the dome are Windowlicker, Come To Daddy (Pappy Mix), Bbydhyonchord, w32.deadcode.a, Stone in Focus and a ton of others I cannot list because it would be far too long
Datasette: Existeinzmaximum and People Without Mouths EPs and plenty of his other anthems of electronic. so underrated Clord: his only album is Secret Crystal Unknown Money, and I love it all the way through. fuck is it amazing, narrowly impossible to pick a favorite holy moly Autechre: tracks Bronchusevenmx, P.O.I.B Mix 2, Eggshell, Lowride, Montreal, Yulquen, and other gems from their discography come to mind. I specifically love Incunabula, the Garbage EP and Amber! Boards of Canada: one of the most impactful on this list, BoC is very special to me and I love their music very fondly. Echus, Roygbiv, Dawn Chorus, 1969, Sixtyniner, Buckie High and others come to mind <3 so much love to the brothers behind the BoC project Com Truise: a musical project by Seth Haley of whom is also behind Airliner and a couple others I think. I LOVE his stuff but I have a soft spot for In Decay and Iteration. he never and I mean never misses hrrhag
Windows96: pure, unfiltered, twilight vaporwave. it is absolutely amazing, and he spurred a lot of the vaporwave stream for a little while and still has his own community with his own subgenre (Twilight Synth) to it's name. my favorite album from his w/o a doubt One Hundred Mornings <3 HOME: ran by Randy Goffe, you probably know him for Resonance from his album Odyssey, which I LOVE. but I am more partial towards Resting State. it is a very nostalgic and special album to me that came to me at a dark time. I love it and the creator of the amazing tunes dearly. favorite track from Resting State is "12" btw :3 PilotRedSun: the creator of Grinch's Ultimatum and many other surreal flicks and tunes on the internet. he has an amazing album called Achievement that is a must-listen for any music fans I think, but he also has a fake-album that should be offical called Bootleg (a collection of tracks from across his discog) and many EPs under PilotRedSky. utter creative and musical gem 0xGRLF00D: a much smaller musical artist that has some amazing music that feels like a hybrid of AFX and PRS. specifically their album "gutworks" I love most. has NO bad tracks. absolute classic for me not gonna lie. I won't lie, I would become their friend in a heartbeat without a doubt if they had a tumblr or some shit DoorHead: this dude is like Squarepusher if he took fent and tripped out inside of a McDonalds inside of a cave system. I love his music, it is best described as "entering another plane of existence" by my friend John. you'll never see this, but I love you big man. you're family. anyways, favorite is definitely the Tunnel System Secrets EP u-Ziq: fucking. fuck yeah. I love his album Lunatic Harness, there is not too much to say but holy molay, this guy is like the pinnacle of drill n' bass for me excluding DoorHead. what a madman, seriously! Louis Cole: oh man, this is one groovy fucking guy right here. he is so tight its insane. I have a baseball cap of him that I wear basically every day. favorite tracks are probably Weird Part Of The Night and When You're Ugly. KNOWER: band including Louis Cole that has an unmatchable energy. their album KNOWER FOREVER is their pinnacle in my book but its so great all around rhajgkag im gonna SPAZ SO HARD OVER THIS SHIT there may be more I am forgetting, yes. but these are probably the most prolific and impactful on my life and how I make music as a whole. these are not just artists that I regularly listen to, they are both that and people that have directly inspired me most to begin making my own music and have irreversibly altered my sound design in how I do so. a deepest thank you to all of them, even if they'll never see this <3
I JUST REALIZED.. LAZY TOWN HAS BEEN FRUTIGER AERO ALL THIS TIME
I grew up watching this show when I was little, and after making a joke about Frutiger Dillon's outfit looking like Sportacus in his music videos it hit me.
HOW WAS ALMOST EVERYTHING FRUTIGER AERO THEMED
