I had the loveliest time with a friend today having a fancy afternoon tea!  And then as I drove home full of delicious scones and yummy cucumber sandwiches a rogue branch cracked my windshield with a huge BOOM! and wow, adrenaline surges are SO UNFUN OMG.

Hey, @trekdreams, @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels, and @mimblebee -- thanks so much for your good wishes.  I’m still a little rattled, but hoping I’ll be able to get the replacement resolved soon (and then it’s back on that driving horse omg).  Anyway, I really appreciate your replies ❤️❤️❤️

That’s adorable! I’m so glad he came promptly and fixed your poor car all up!

:D  I’m ridiculously thrilled that it’s fixed!  Huge luck they were able to get to me that day so that I make it in time to something I had scheduled last night with a see-through-able windshield.

THANK YOU, it was the funniest thing because I was SO THRILLED to see the glass guy that when he arrived I beamed at him and just barely kept from clapping my hands and exclaimed, “I’m so so happy you’re here!” and he ducked his head and did that smile/blush thing that I basically write all the time in fanfiction.
