anyone actually used this? https://winebottler.kronenberg.org/ i wanna play games on the laptop i actually USE ,,, i do have an old windows one but... hmm 🤔
jesus christ i was trying to navigate the download page for WineBottler* and the scale and depth of fake download links are staggering
i had one popup that told me the “download was not compatible with my system” suggesting i download some random program, there was a Download Here button with “download manager” underscoring it, there was some other shit
fortunately the creator of the program did mention to “skip ads” which i did not understand until i saw the cacophony of fake download links with the “skip ads” button at the top jesus christ
*(windows emulator for mac)
i've downloaded emofuri onto a macbook using winebottler and it was going ok but now when i open it it comes up with question marks, does anyone know what's wrong - it won't open. here is a screenshot - http://prntscr.com/3zf7km. is it just that it doesn't like japanese characters?
All I want is to play RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 on my Mac but none of these dumb softwares are helping me
WINE Bottler
Have you ever needed to run a windows program on a mac and not wanted to use parallels or boot camp?
Here is a gem I came across the other day its called a wine bottle.
WINE is an opensource set of cloned Windows32 APIs. The APIs represented in the cloned set is a subset of the real Windows32 APIs. As a result, many Windows applications run under WINE, but many others do not. You must check a list of Windows applications that run under WINE.
This is the only program I have tried and it worked perfectly!
