My Winter Altar Setup

Ah, I’d love to do this next year for a winter altar. From what I’ve read you must harvest a large brown or slightly green closed pine cone from a tree in late fall - before it’s fallen to the ground and given up its seeds.

I forgot to post an update of my altar. I like updating it along with the seasons, it's like bringing the cicle of nature into my house. I live in a big city, on the less green zone to boot, so it's like a little reminder. Even though I live in a tropical country and the temperatures have been above 27°C this winter, there are still some trees that lose their leaves on the colder months here.

⛄ Autel d'hiver 🎄

Après une grosse session rangement chez moi, je me suis décidé à remettre à jour mon petit autel. Je ne possède que très peu de décorations de Noël, hormis une guirlande de pompons faite maison et un petit sapin en céramique 😅

Le petit coeur de graines devant est destiné à être béni bientôt avant d'être offert aux oiseaux sur mon rebord de fenêtre ~

Cette fois-ci, j'ai décidé de mettre en avant sur mon autel deux nouveaux éléments (hormis mes humbles décorations de Noël/Yule haha) :

une représentation de mon familier, via cette très belle carte toute en marqueterie.

une photo de Vali Myers, une artiste atypique dont j'adore le travail et qui m'inspire beaucoup, plus connue sous le surnom de "la Sorcière de Positano".

Ces deux éléments sont là pour me guider vers ce vers quoi je tends, en cette fin d'année plus favorable à l'introspection. Se reconnecter à son essence, continuer le travail sur soi, nourrir sa source de créativité intérieure.
