The old oak in glorious black and white:)

I've started a project of photographing this old oak tree throughout the year. The aim is to document how the way it looks changes with the passage of the seasons and also, the varying weather conditions. How the finished project will be presented is something I've yet to decide. Suffice to say that with the damp, overcast conditions prevailing yesterday, there wasn't a lot of colour about on occasions. That's why these images have been rendered in glorious black and white:)

Winter Tree - I made this some time ago, and I could have sworn I posted it here, but I can’t find it on my blog? I decided to repost it because I really love this piece. I think it came together so beautifully.
