I'm so excited I can share the Celebrimbor X Adar story I wrote for @saffronstories for Winterfeast!

Summary: After learning that the seven Dwarven rings are behaving differently then expected, Celebrimbor begins to suspect that Annatar might not be who he claims he is. He manages to escape his own city and takes a walk along the river banks to clear his head. Unfortunately, he is captured by a patrol of Orcs who take him to their leader, the mysterious and alluring Adar. Adar wants to get rid of Sauron (good) but believes the only way to do that is to destroy Eregion (bad).

Can Celebrimbor convince Adar to spare his city or will he be forced to watch as the annoyingly handsome Uruk destroys everything he loves?

Make your holiday guests a beautiful Winter Rustic Charcuterie Board. This mix of cured meats, cheeses, fruits, and other things is not only tasty, but also nice to look at. This is a great way to share the flavors of the season.

Ingredients: 1-2 types of cured meats such as prosciutto, salami, or chorizo. Assorted cheeses e.g., brie, cheddar, gouda. Crackers and breadsticks. Mixed nuts almonds, walnuts. Dried fruits figs, apricots. Olives green and black varieties. Grapes or berries. Honey or fig jam for drizzling. Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish.

Instructions: Start by selecting a large wooden board or platter as your base. Arrange the cured meats in a visually appealing manner, folding or rolling them for texture. Place small bowls or ramekins on the board for olives, honey, and fig jam. Position the assorted cheeses around the board, making sure to vary the shapes and sizes. Add crackers and breadsticks to create different heights and textures. Scatter mixed nuts and dried fruits between the other items for variety. Fill any remaining gaps with grapes or berries for a pop of color. Garnish the board with fresh rosemary sprigs for a rustic touch. Serve your Winter Rustic Charcuterie Board as an appetizer or centerpiece for holiday guests to enjoy!

Quick painting using a photo I took myself at Dark Mofo Winter Feast last week as reference. I used some Photoshop foliage brushes I bought a looooooong time ago. Almost forgot I got them. I also used some native Procreate brushes. The fact that you can easily import brushes from Ps to Procreate is awesome! It makes the transition even more seamless. Fun fact: I took the picture without looking. I was aiming for the fire tower, waiting it to burst the flame, and clicked as a reflex. I didn’t see the “Sauron Eye” effect until I look at the result.
