I thought I could stand putting up with Dresden for three days, but I’m beginning to doubt myself. He is just so unbelievably irritating, and I know he’s doing it on purpose. I used to think we would work well together, but that was incredibly foolish. Who knows what I was thinking...

At least he enjoyed the doughnuts I brought. With how few people ate them, I was worried Deirdre and I were going to have to eat them all ourselves.

I take it back. That’s not even that big of an upside. Fuck Dresden, similar taste in dessert or otherwise.

Being well acquainted with Harry’s mother, Nicodemus actually sent her a card and flowers congratulating her on the birth of her second child, not having heard she died until later. He never got a chance to see baby Harry in person, but somewhere, mixed in with Margaret’s remaining possessions, that card still exists, probably unopened and unread.

At first, Nick actually found some of Harry’s witty remarks amusing, but after hearing so many of them, he lowkey wants to stab Harry every time he’s being a smartass.

Harry defeating Nicodemus on the boat during the events of Small Favor was one of the single most humiliating things that has happened to Nick in the last few hundred years. He is unbelievably bitter about the whole mess and thinks of it often.
