wintergreen and rose’s cute father-daughter-ism is great and all but idk, slade literally RESENTING billy for the rest of their lives bc he “stole” his first moments with his daughter from him (even though let’s be honest slade probably wouldn’t have plucked up the courage to hug her himself given the chance) and being jealous of the bond billy shares with HIS daughter is such good fucking food. a point of contention between the two lifelong best “friends”. this ugly envious feeling slade has whenever he see rose hug wintergreen. even though he himself was the one to failed to make that bond with rose. he STILL feels jealous. delicious.
