Fate could have been a good show, but it’s attached to the Winx Club name as an adaptation, so it’s hard to separate the source material from the show. I’m only at Ep. 4 and the plot has potential, but as a huge fan of the OG animated show, I just find myself shouting in disappointment at every unnecessary plot change—one in particular is how Princess Daphne sacrificed herself for Bloom’s safety. Every other change is frustrating, but they’ve all been mentioned before, so I’m gonna talk about this one quickly. Completely eradicating Bloom’s actual past into this changeling shit is so disappointing because her past is the entire reason why her identity is so lost. The entire plot twist that she was the last remaining fairy of Domino was heartbreaking, especially when she couldn’t acquire Enchantix naturally because of it. To add, in the animated version, Bloom’s pressure of being the strongest fairy in the universe was so hard on her for a huge chunk of her life because she didn’t have anyone from her world to guide her.

Again, if the show was a fresh concept that isn’t Winx Club, I might accept it. The series as a whole has its own original story. I don’t understand why it has to be called an adaptation.

so I just finished Winx adaptation and I have a question. Why?  

This show is not even okay level. Its not, really not. 

They had one simple job. Make a good adaptation of group of girls who goes on adventures. I wish the first episode was the same as the Winx animation’s first ep because that would be more diverse, funny and loveable.

I’m being honest. Rather this crack show, I would prefer to watch replicas of the very first episodes of Winx animation as live action.

Oh, also I want to add that the cast has no idea about Winx animation. LMAO go watch it. It's not long, only 20 minutes that the time you need to devote.
