WIP Joy Sept 2019: Day 1

Hi, I’m Batty! I’m an old lady, been writing ever since I learned how to. As a wee girl, I made up short stories about princesses in far away kingdoms, superheroes beating up the bad guy and overcoming the odds, and Little House-inspired stories. Over the years, my focus shifted to poems, which I was never really good at, and fanfiction. You could say that fanfic shaped me into the writer I am today. I love fanfiction, without it I wouldn’t be half the writer I am. 

I love reading about just anything, and lately, I've been working on Lost Girls, which I hope will be my magnum opus.

Lost Girls is a story of love, loss, redemption, regrowth, and regression. It is about 5 girls, all from very different walks of life, that form an unbreakable bond. In some way or another, all of them are "lost", whether that's in the metaphorical sense, or a literal sense (like with one of the characters, she is legit lost--she ran away). They are friends from their teenage years, and their bond is tested, stretched, broken, but in the end they always find their way back to each other. Day 15 #WIPJoy: Pack for a Quest With Some Characters! What are All Your Essentials? Well I'll bring something to read for some downtime, water, and some fruity snacks. So far for my companions I would bring 736, Jason, my #OC Valhalla and Vardan, and maybe even Mia Corvere, why not bring an assassin lol. #SepLitWrit19: Matey|WIP Protagonist Best Friend: First #Aesthetic goes to Aura Vitaliadaughter, best friend to Protag 1 Valhalla. Aura is a Valkyrie of Asgard, a powerful warrior and mage. She is kind, caring, but can be a little overbearing. Second aesthetic goes to Prince Daemyn Svartr of castle Svartr by the sea, best friend to Protag 2 Alistair. Daemyn is great with a rapier and is the youngest brother to Prince Albrecht Svartr who is an amazing sailor. He is sweet, playful, and a wonderful painter and pianist.
