1. Name your top three favorite songs.

completely impossible to answer in a general sense! different songs have meant different things to me at different times in my life, and i like it that way. my taste in music grows and changes with me, and trying to hold on to my old favorites just because i’ve decided they’re “favorites” isn’t something i’m interested in doing

i’ve been on a decemberists kick lately, so ig my three current faves are songs of theirs. uh, “cavalry captain,” “song for myla goldberg,” and...... “i was meant for the stage”

2. Do you have a favorite band?

in the general sense no! but again i’ve been listening to a lot of decemberists lately, so currently them

3. What are you top five bands?

uh let’s see. the mountain goats, the decemberists, anais mitchell, iron & wine, and feist maybe

i think i’ve listed that exact top five before lmao oof i need to listen to some new music

4. Favorite album cover?

this is real good question. for a long time i’ve cited neil young’s on the beach as an extremely aesthetically pleasing album cover. some others, just off the top of my head: ghost on ghost by iron & wine, the bees made honey in the lion’s skull by earth, la grande by laura gibson, grinderman 2 by grinderman, hadestown by anais mitchell

5. What’s an album that you prefer to listen straight through instead of shuffled?

all of them. i’m kind of pretentious about this ig, but imo an album is a work of art in itself, not just a collection of songs. there’s thought put into the order of the tracks, and i like to follow that order when i’m listening to a given album

on the other hand i’ve got that adhd brain so i don’t always listen to albums all the way through. and ofc if it’s a playlist or whatever you should shuffle it. but if you’re listening to an album for the sake of listening to that album, do the artist a favor and listen to the songs in order

YES! we’re starting to get our shit together with this so we’ll be getting soaps up online once this new batch cures , instead of just selling stuff at Bumfuck, Pennsylvania craft shows

On one level I find the low-level cups interesting because part of the challenge is simply figuring out how to get strong Pokémon with passable movesets at those levels within the confines of the gameboy games, like “oh if I fish in the safari zone I can catch a level 15 dragonair and feed it a bunch of TMs” or “what’s the lowest level at which I can find this one Pokémon to trade to an NPC” and that’s a neat challenge that’s pretty much entirely unique to the stadium games

It’s just, y’know, making a move capable of two-hit-killing the ENTIRE TIER legal and then deliberately giving it to the NPC opponents was an incredibly bullshit move

at least ambrosia kept the gods young.... i just blacked out and when i blinked back into existence three cookies were gone and my brain was going Um, Chewing Feel Good, and what do i have to show for it besides a surge of sugar and dopamine???

re: lab partner elevator mcdonalds: en, noi, and ebisu

lab partner: I’d have to go with en. en is a scary guy but he’s the only one of these three people who would have the focus and seriousness needed to fulfill the #1 important trait of a lab partner- being on board with doing well in the lab in the first placeelevator: this was a close one and in the end it came down to nearly a tie but while i think i would have a safer time if i were trapped in an elevator with ebisu for ten hours i think i would have a more tolerable time if i were trapped in an elevator with noi for ten hours (i love ebisu but i do not think i could handle ten hours of ebisu)

employee trainer: i guess this leaves me with ebisu as an employee trainer but im ok with that and honestly i think none of these three people would be a good employee trainer at mcdonalds (en would probably be the best but i value a good lab partner more) so ill go with the one least likely to completely fuck off out of boredom or turn me into a mushroom for making a mistake
