The best part of #SDCC18 was Lewis Tan (AKA SHATTERSTAR) photobombing us at the Wired Cafe party!

Many of the Hong Kong nashitomo who are in our Facebook group went to the WIRED CAFE events there yesterday, and they all report having a great time. Funassyi (in Pear Suit no. 4) went around to all the tables, shaking hands and taking pictures - something that would be impossible these days at most of his events in Japan due to the crush of fans. In Hong Kong he is quite popular, but things haven’t gotten so crazy yet so fans were able to hug him and so on without incident.
Many thanks to our wonderful Hong Kong nashitomo - Andy and Cindy, Christopher, Michael, Siu and Xavier - for giving permission to post their photos!
Some of the Hong Kong based Funatomo (Funassyi fans) in our Facebook Funassyi Fan Group have already been to the WIRED CAFEs and ROSIE’S CAFE where the Funassyi Fair is taking place. They report that the Funassyi-based decorations are pretty basic, consisting of some posters on the wall - a fan who has been to the Funassyi Cafes in Japan says she was a bit disappointed. However, they report that the food is good and they’re really happy to have a version of the Funassyi Cafe locally.
Many thanks to Christopher, Andy and Cincin for the photos above!
