It is always a pleasure to visit the #PlazaMayor square in #Madrid, which is without a doubt one of the most iconic sites in the city. But this year it’s especially important to visit it as it is celebrating its 400th anniversary with a rather interesting programme. Here with Joanna from @corazontravel at the Plaza Mayor square during the sound check previews of the 400th anniversary celebration 😍❤🤗🕵🏼♀️🗺 It’s curious to think that this impressive square was a small lake where the monarchs used to hunt ducks at the end of the 16th century and that it has been the site of fires, various reconstructions, Goya parties, etc. Visit my Facebook page www.Facebook.com/TheSpanishFlavorGroup to learn more about Spain's secrets and fascinating history! On the occasion of The Madrid's Plaza Mayor square's 400th anniversary, a beautiful and fun masquerade ball was held on February, along with an interesting program of events tailored to all ages. Stay tuned to the upcoming Easter Week replete with Flamenco-style saeta songs, zarzuela musical comedies on the street, a market dedicated to words, great photographers who will capture the visitors, a broadcasting of the Luisa Fernanda opera, a cinema concert, poetry contests in the square and a fun-filled Baroque festival. <<<DOUBLE TAB if you've visited #Spain>>> Want more information?
