Why do I think Asha's friends are more believable as the Seven Dwarfs than those Hippies from the live-action Snow White remake?

So since I love both Wish and Disney Fairies, I decided to make a post about what talent the Teens (including Asha) would have if they arrived to Pixie Hollow as fairies / sparrow men:

Dahlia - Of course she would be a baking fairy, just like Dulcie, the leader of the bakers. They even have similar names and clothes! I can see them becoming either best friends, or bitter rivals.

Dario - We don't know what he does in the kitchen, but since he plays the drums and in deleted material composes songs, I think he would be a music sparrow man!

Hal - From "A Recipe for Adventure", we know she's a beekeeper, so she would be an animal fairy who gets along best with bees.

Safi - He loves chickens and collects eggs from them, so he would also be an animal fairy, or more specifically an egg-collecting sparrow man.

Bazeema - In the book it's stated she's a weaver, so she would be a tailoring / sewing fairy, or maybe a basket-weaving fairy, since we see here carrying baskets in the graphic novel.

Gabo - His job is not specified, but he does tell Asha in the movie that she would have to wash the pots if she makes them dirty, and he carries pots in the comic, so he would probably be a scullery sparrow man (which is a sub-group of the cleaning talent).

Simon - Since his wish was to become a knight, he would be a scout sparrow man (the scouts are the guards and fighters of Pixie Hollow). He also looks quite similar to Di, the fairy in the image.

Asha - She technically becomes a kind of fairy in the end of the movie, so I think she could be the next Fairy Queen after Clarion, but until then, maybe a scout fairy since she works as a tour guide and is a justice fighter!

Do you have headcanons for each of asha's friends

Hey anon! Yes and i've had those half written for a while so thanks for asking and enjoy

Teens headcanons :

Dario is a poet, he loves to write and recites them (to this point it's not really a headcanon, it was suppose to be canon initially but they took that off for the final version)

Safi doesn't care about a lot of stuff, the only thing that make him liven up are his friends and the chickens

Dahlia bake all the time (no surprise here), she spend a big part of her free time trying new recipes, and of courses the others are always here to test

Gabo might be the first one to tease and annoy people about everything and anything, but he's also the first one to comfort them when they really need it

Hal loves to dance, sometimes they dance even when there's no music and will try to drag along anyone who is near

Simon may seem like he's sleeping all the time, but his sleep is really light so most of the time he listen to everyone around him when he rest

Asha is an animal lover and has been a vegetarian since her early teenage years

Bazeema takes a lot of pride in being able to appear and disappear without being noticed, and scaring people like that amuse her a lot (even if she doesn't scare them on purpose)

For now it's just one headcanon per character but i have some others in stock that i might post later (when i'm more back in this fandom)

The Ages of the Teens

So from the movie we know Simon is 18 and Asha is 17, and in the Junior Novelization (I finally got it!) it's stated Dahlia is 16 and Gabo is 13, but what about the rest? I'm going to try making assumptions, using both the movie itself and the graphic novel adaptation.

Dario - He's the tallest of the Teens, and even though in the final movie his face is smooth, in the graphic novel and concept art, we can see he has stubbles, which indicates he's quite mature. Also, when Asha explains the tourists how the wish granting system works, she uses Dario as an example. In the movie, the puppet looks a bit different, but you can still tell it's him:

All this makes me assume he must be relatively close to 18, so around Asha's age, 17 - 17.5.

Hal - This conversation was only in the graphic novel (but Gabo does say something similar about Simon), which makes me think Hal is also 17 - 17.5. Besides, I suppose she can't be too young if she's allowed to handle bees (according to "A Recipe for Adventure", and she's holding what seems to be honey jars in this image).

Safi - In the first image, he's clearly shorter than Dario, and his face looks younger, but he's still taller than Gabo, so I'd guess he's around 14.

Bazeema - She seems pretty young, which may also explain her shyness, I'll go with 13-14 (she's taller than Gabo, but girls usually develop earlier).

Again, these are only assumptions / headcanons, if anyone has formal info, I'll be happy to hear about it!

Amaya headcanons

She totally is the mom friend type

Always make sure people she care about are well hydrated and have eaten, and if not she would gently scold them

She always take time to listen to people

She see right through people, so it's hard to lie to her

She's not used to physical contact (except with Magnifico of course)

So when hugged she would appear uncomfortable but she still enjoy it

She can have gestures of affection such as holding hands in hers, kiss on the forehead etc to comfort or encourage someone she like

Generally speaking she is really sweet, no judgemental and really caring and protective

Warning movie spoilers :

Since Magnifico is not in her life anymore she has discovered freedom

Like sleeping in the middle of the bed

Her priorities now are the kingdom of Rosas and herself

Also she now help Asha to learn how to use her magic wand (she doesn't know as much as Magnifico about magic but she still is good guidance)

That's how she started spending time with the teens from time to time, especially when she needs a break from her queen duties

She find it refreshing and amusing to be around them because of how chaotic they are

Most of the times she comes to bake with Dahlia, for who she has a lot of affection (along with Asha of course)

When Dahlia showed her her new cookies, looking like Amaya, the Queen told her she would prefer to make them look like the kingdom symbol (a squared rose)

She is close to her people, not in Magnifico's way, but more like a wise guardian and a friend
