Lore drop: This takes place 100 years in my series (Late 1970s) after Magnifico was released from the staff by Aislynn. When they met (1890s Norway), 6000 years after Magnifico was sealed in the staff by his own doing. (Post-Wish) He was taken in by an elemental that freed and accepted him as he was and understood him on a spiritual and intellectual level, magic or no magic. as he got stronger and learned magic again, He went from having simple wish-granting magic to bending space. his relationship with Aislynn Getting deeper as they were mentoring him back to greatness, but he relapsed. The grip from the Book consumed him once more, causing him to create a rip in the universe and go back into a timeline where he still had his kingdom. Overthrowing himself in that timeline. Forcing Aislynn to follow him. The tear in the spacetime continuum is causing physical strain on the elemental (hence the physical scars). In order to restore balance, Aislynn had to destroy him and everyone in that timeline, causing them to have survivor's guilt and isolate themselves from the world and the other elementals, their friends, Karris and Glen. Aislynn is a shapeshifter, so their gender isn't solid. Though Magnifico is Mostly familiar with the feminine presenting form. Aislynn is the element of life and earth; in order to not cause natural disasters due to their emotional turmoil, they wear Magnifico's face to cope with their grief. The only difference is that they can't perfectly replicate him unless they have extremely potent DNA (like blood). They only have some DNA from his hair lying around from when he was living in their cabin. They are haunted with hatred, grief, yearning, love and survivors' guilt from having to kill Magnifico, not knowing he's not actually dead but in another plane of existence in the stars. The stars removing the influence of the book and forcing him to spectate Aislynn, but he cannot interact with them until he's ready to come back to earth again and has learned his karmic lessons. Now they live in the woods somewhere high in the mountains, trying to repair whatever tears Magnifico left behind with his magic. The physical tears a constant reminder; Glen and Karris can't track them even with their magic, They dont wanna be found.
