We got Iron Lung and Project Hail Mary Bloodymary ship. Now Backrooms and Obsession Nikki Freeman x Mary Kline ship. They have many similarities. Or are you all too misogynistic

you know why stop at only Simon mysteriously ending up on the Hail Mary? Put Nikki from Obsession and Mary from the Backrooms there too! Clark also if you’re based. Now you have 4 (5 if you add Clark) inexperienced people on a ship in space and Rocky. Simon’s crying that the stars and the plants are back, Nikki’s freaking out bc omg we’re in space, Mary is having a mini panic attack bc it’s almost exactly like her childhood, and Grace is confused as to how these strangers ended up on his ship (easy, it was the backrooms).

is anyone else seeing the vision or am the only one cursed with a love for found family?

My Current Framework for Making The IOPR Universe Make Sense:

(based on the theory that it was actually the space stations that disappeared from the world)

The Quiet Rapture: A God from an alternate dimension peaked into the world, and took a bunch of space stations to it's own universe, leaving behind a variety of anomalies. This created a time warp that had to be filled in with years of a false history for humans to comprehend the sudden change in their perceived reality.

Astrophage | Anomaly 1: The virus that destroyed all of the stars in the Raptureverse bled into the main world and began eating the suns there.

Backrooms | Anomaly 2: A labyrinth that formed in the location of the god breeching the main universe, and it latches onto the memories of the people inside because otherwise it is incomprehensible. Also yes, it disobeys the laws of time and space because location means something different to this God.

One Wish Willow | Anomaly 3: The alternate God accidentally ripped out a bunch of trees with it, and had to replace them with replicas, resulting in willow trees capable of defining reality.

(Room for other anomalies if someone wants to add another franchise to this universe)

Since we have Eva/Ava, we should totally also have Bear/Clark, but specifically in the way where they're too homophobic to admit it and kill each other and then Nikki and Mary get to flip off their graves together and ride off into the sunset not having to deal with toxic men because they toxiced so close to the sun they died without ever hurting these awesome women and nothing bad ever happens to them just to the men.

I saw someone posing Queerplatonic Nikki Freeman/Mary Kline to be the fem equivalent of BloodyMary, and you know what? That's awesome. These two final girls deserve to find connection in someone who's gone through something similar (and while I personally feel weird about shipping Nikki romantically, other people can). I pose we call them WishPrison.

ok this is my last post before hiatus. I have an au idea I need to have people get on board with right now so here goes.

Backrooms x obsession x iron lung x project Hail Mary where Mary, Nikki, and Simon end up on the Hail Mary.

Simon ended up there as the last mercy of a god who looked through the porthole and saw a good soul

Nikki ended up there as a loophole in a wish

Mary ended up there as a last ditch effort to escape A-Sync

and now they have to survive the Hail Mary together while also being freshly traumatized and not knowing how to handle it. Chaos will ensue
