HEY SO I’M GONNA GO OFF A BIT ABOUT WITCH!MABEL IN MY FUTURE!FALLS AU (aka How Bill Cipher got back into this Crazy Crew of ours)

Ok so My hc is that Mabel first started realizing she had the Gift of witchcraft around 14 or 15. shit like things floating changing her hair color pots start to boil around her.She of course thinks this is awesomeDipper is a little more grounded like Ok yes that is cool Mabel but we need to THINK THIS THROUGH PLEASE PUT ME BACK ON THE GROUND. They start reading an researching and documenting her progress for the next years (the Grunkles help whenever they're around but they've been off studying their own shit so they mostly send Mabel like books or ingredients or like. Roadside attraction postcards)

She starts to grow, right, really get into her powers,but after high school she hits something of a roadblock: She's gotta focus on getting a job and applying to colleges and even though they're close to each other Dipper ends up getting his own place and goes to a different school. So it all goes on the backburner while she's getting her teaching degree and working at a bakery and junk. She still does little stuff and reads up when she can but it feels like there's so much she could still do if she could figure out HOW

Then she stumbles on this book, right, that talks of Familiars and Demonic Mentoring and part of her is like mmmmmmmmmmmaybe not the best idea but also. She feels she could be more and do more with a little help?So she decides to start gathering the materials and learning the incantations for a Summoning. (She doesn't tell Dipper because he'll get all freaky-outy and junk. She'll tell him when he meets her new Demon-Sidekick-Buddy!!!!)  The spell calls for things like animal bones and fresh viscera but she doesn't have that stuff soshe buys a plastic halloween skeleton and takes some of the burnt gooey old Devil's Food Cake batter that for some reason didn't wanna dry or bake and puts them in a summoning circle (drawn in purple and pink chalk)on the floor of her kitchen and starts reciting.

Things get really gross and disturbing for a while

The goo like, wraps around the plastic skeleton and morphs into something akin to a body and there's shaking and cracking and all that fun demonic stuff and when it all stops there is what appears to be some vaguely humanoid looking thing in a pile, the head where Mabel drew the smily face is glowing and twisting into the triangle and pop boom u got one fucked up Dream demon in the confines of the world's worst cake pop.which is nOT WHAT MABEL ASKED FOR

 “WHAT THE HOGIES IS THIS UR SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD”

he's SUPPOSED to be summoned into a real body and not this cake monstrosity so uh we're all dealing with disappointment here. Also because he was summoned and made physical in our plane for the sole purpose of being Mabel's Familiar his powers are tamped down to assist hers and he's like wait this was not what I signed up for when I jumped into this I wanted REVENGE and ANOTHER CHANCE not to hElp Y O u

Now they’re essentially tied to each other with no way to get out of it and Mabel is calling Dipper like “Uh hey bro-bro I um.... have a bit of a problem?” with Bill crashing into stuff because he’s not able to float around and it is TERRIBLE and Dipper is on the other side like.... This is not.... how my life was supposed to go....... I just want to hunt monsters and eat grilled cheeses.......

Mabel Pines and Tiffany Aching would probably annoy the crap out of each other at first, but once they both learned to realize the merits of the other girl’s approach even if they themselves could never pull it off, I think they could make a great team.

For the witch AU, Bill finds out about Mabel's Knack when she accidentally summons him when trying out a new spell.

Omfg yaaaaassssss like she stumbles on a spell book and thinks she’s summoning like a ghost or some shit and then out of nowhere BOOP THERE’S BILL and she’s like WTF and he’s like how u do dis and then it’s like he follows her around like hey shooting star that was a neat wanna learn more? I bet you like to learn
