I was gonna try to keep this series canon, but I couldn’t help but draw @yuli-the-bi‘s Witch!Qrow for this one. The details killed me tho, hence it’s slightly late xD

How would Qrow and Clover's relationship change if Clover was the familiar and Qrow was the witch (from "Bound to you")?

I think it would depend on a lot of different factors. Their dynamic, as I’ve mentioned several times, is heavily influenced by the fact that they cannot be together due to Atlas law. I think their personalities would remain the same, and they still would have eventually fallen for each other, but there might be other things that would change. The story might take place in Vale because that’s where Qrow lives - he might have gone to Atlas to save someone in trouble and ended up “buying” Clover, or maybe stumbled across him by accident on a trip. Clover would have grown up thinking all he was meant to do is serve his witch, something Qrow would have had to help him unlearn. STRRY would still be wary of Clover because he’s a little weird with his “I must be a good familiar” attitude. They would be mad at Qrow for having to forcefully bind Clover (because of what happened with Blake) but Clover would most likely insist he wouldn’t stay unless he was bound, and Qrow wouldn’t want him wandering back to Atlas and getting in trouble. This would also negate a lot of Clover’s military background and cut him out of the Ace Ops altogether.

So I think their personalities would remain the same, but their outlooks and their circumstances would definitely change. Qrow would still rely on Clover to help him with his confidence about his Semblance, but this time it might have been Qrow nursing Clover back to health and trying to undo all the brainwashing he endured as a familiar growing up in Atlas.

Or, completely different idea altogether, Clover, because of his luck is a high-ranking familiar, Qrow falls in love with him through circumstances and tries to “free” him from his current, abusive witch (ie killing that witch).

I don't have a fic for day 5 but I do be thinking about witch Qrow using magic to trip Clover for some reason, and hey also gives him an excuse to help him up. Except because it's Qrow the dumbass trips and falls on top of him in the process
