She took forever but my ace cardigan - I call her Lydia - is finally finished. Tiny cotton yarn, tiny needles, an empire bust, about twelve million stitches round the collar and front edge and the sexy underarm colour detail, I feel like the work was worth it. She's a wearable, comfortable piece and I'm happy she's mine :3

Sometimes we need fantasy to survive the reality. And witch socks are never enough!😁 * This photo reminded me of this quote: “One can never have enough socks," said Dumbledore. "Another Christmas has come and gone and I didn't get a single pair. People will insist on giving me books.”- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone instagram
As a respectable and well mannered witch I remember Desiderata Hollow's grandmother's advices. They were: 1. Never trust a dog with orange eyebrows 2. Always get the young man's name and address 3. Never get between two mirrors 4. And always wear completely clean underwear every day because you never knew when you were going to be knocked down and killed by a runaway horse and if people found you had unsatisfactory underwear on, you'd die of shame. One of the minor benefits of being a witch is that you know exactly when you're going to die and can wear what underwear you like. But! Your striped socks have to be in perfect condition. Always! Friday the 13th is believed to be an unlucky day in many countries, but I'm a witch, today is my lucky day. I just finished knitting my cozy socks. I think it's a real magic, because without planning this my socks have: 13 stripes from cuff to heel and 13 stripes from heel to toe! I mean it. I don’t like flying on a broomstick and wearing my witch’s hat when there are people around becase I don't like a lot of attention or even noise about nothing. People are weird. But I put my striped socks on when I go out and it's a slight hint that I'm a kind person, but I can become a bad witch in a second. So don't mess with anyone in striped socks! Happy Friday the 13th!
