A crafty and personal blog by Pocket Letters creator and owner, Janette Lane. Here she documents her travels, life in the UK, and of course, crafts!
Anyone heard of Pocket Letters? I think they’d be a cute thing to send, especially for witches. Imagine: filling the pockets with little witchy things and sending them to your witchy pen pal. Send feathers and spells written on small cards and sigils you designed yourself or herbal teas with a list of the herbs associated properties. Send dried flowers, herbs, and leaves. Send little cards with information about deities, the properties of plants or crystals, send spell tips and recipes for the Sabbats or full moon rituals... I think it’d be a cute idea.
Like/reblog if u want a witchy mate
I want more magickal pals, I’ll follow and say hi!
I wish I had a witch pen-pal.
Witch Tip #4 - Discord App
Discord is an app that you can join groups of people and chat once given an invite code. There are tons of witchcraft groups on there you can join like Ouroboros Witch Server and The Broomstick. Generally most groups accept minors and offer some sort of lesson for its members. I personally like that some of them also have rooms just for beginner witches and all the people I have meet are friendly and more than willing to help.
I’m currently a part of 3 groups so I get triple the witchy people I can talk to from the comfort of my bed. Plus the app is free and you can even make your own witch server if you’d like.
I am not being paid to promote any of these groups or the app itself. All opinions are my own
Letter writing to a good witchy pal along with my nightly cup of tea!
how do you find the pittsburgh witchy community? im thinking of reaching out to others in my craft :)
Personally I never found anyone locally and actually hung out with them before I left for college. However, I’ll be back for a few months starting in May so I might try again.
