The differences -- and similarities -- between familiars and companion spirits
Similarities: 1. They can both communicate with you. I’m mostly using pendulum, to ensure that I understand their answers, but both my companion and my familiar can use telepathy. 2. Both can astral travel/project with you. 3. Both will form a close bond with you. 4. Both can work with you and have magical abilities.
Differeces: 1. Familiars bond with you while they are living creatures, not as spirits. 2. Familiars get their abilities from the bond – from you, the witch.
