"We are gathered here today to honor the memory of my beloved Queen Hedwig. To many, Queen Hedwig was a stern and distant figure. But to me, she was as large in stature as she was of heart. Though you were as barren as the Korath, in many ways, you were a mother to me. I could always rely on you [...] to tell me what to think, tell me where to go, and indeed [...] to be. [...] anticipate my needs because of that woman. [...] These last few months has been something of [...] Dear brother, I know you will be there for many more years to come. [...] and join us in a bedchamber quite close to our own. But let us think of him no more."
what is going on in this eulogy lol
Random Headcanons about the show
Queen Hedwig and Philippa had a long-lasting rivalry at court - one of the reasons Philippa seduced the queen’s chief handmaiden, Eva.
All of this is supported by the fact that Philippa - and Dijkstra - planned to have Ciri married to Vizimir. Hedwig - being barren as mentioned by Vizimir - feared the loss of her royal position and began conspiring with Nilfgaard/Lydia van Bredevoort (who was presenting herself as working for Nilfgaard) - to prevent this, Philippa and Dijkstra have her assassinated and frame Nilfgaard for it - two birds with one stone - get rid of the problematic queen controlling her husband AND turning said husband king against Nilfgaard
And finally, you only dress up like THIS for the funeral of a bitch you hated with all your guts. This look says it all. Philippa slayed the queen... and then she slayed at her funeral.
Witcher Watch 3x03
The whole "Geralt is a hammer, Radovid is a spoon" theory does make a lot of sense. And now I want Jaskier and Radovid spooning.
Still waiting for Emhyr to do something.
Ah, the classic delivery of a loved one's severed head.
Dijkstra, you cold, cunning bitch.
First the conspiracy against the Redanian queen, now Cahir killing Gallatin ... if all the problematic people keep taking each other out, who will be left as a threat in the end?

Witchertober2023
Day 1
Topic - Politics
For The Witcher ask
👑 Политическое событие, изменившее в Редании буквально всё - по приказу Филиппы Эйльхарт убит король Визимир, и на престоле воцаряется его юный сын Радовид, полный жажды справедливости и мести за отца и за забытую по итогам войны Реданию.
👑 The political event that changed literally everything in Redania. King Vizimir was killed by Philippa Eilhart, and Vizimir’s young son Radovid reigned on the throne, full of thirst for justice and revenge for his father and Redania, forgotten as a result of the war.
Because the Redanian Intelligence team totally deserved its own sitcom!
