"The usual method of trial, it seems, was by water - even though trial by ordeal had been illegal for centuries. But the Witchfinders claimed that Satan's disciples did not deserve fair trials."
"So they drowned them?"
"Only the innocent ones."
"And the others they burned alive?"
"Not always alive. Sometimes they strangled them first, with a rope."
"I suppose they thought that was being merciful."
"No doubt."

You were controlled by a Witch!

It was just another afternoon in Salem, a regular day where the birds sang, the wind blew and the smell of the forest was carried on the wind. It was a perfect time for the young witch you get up and about, trying to master flick magic. Right off the bat, he knew who he had in mind as a test-subject. Travis- a man he had spoken to briefly. Of course, the other may see Orville as an equal or underling, but the witch wanted to prove his dominance.
Slipping down the streets, going behind the man’s house, Hills found himself gazing through windows in his doctor attire, eyes narrowed and focused to find the other. Then, his eyes locked on Travis. His mouth perked into a smirk, raising his hand slowly, chanting something under his breath as he flicked his wrist, trying to get Travis to be shoved to the left.. if he had bewitched him, this would be a great time to practice the rather unpredictable magic and to get to know what his new play thing was capable of.
