[:::❅] —Rin hadn't known why these powers have chosen her. What made her existence so s p e c i a l now? This outlook was a bit pessimistic, as the Rin who was now a young woman had nothing to s m i l e for. Her usual optimism was slowly f a d i n g, for what the maiden posessed was soon proving to be a curse. Lady Kikyo had warned her not to take on the burden of abusing it.--The ability she had that healed the dying.
It wasn't enough to just assist the unrest, bound spirits of slaughtered innocents that underworld servants wanted to drag away to hell. It wasn't enough to destroy the unholy vermin, and call it a day once the white orbs crossed over in peace. No. Rin couldn't yield. It would be a sin to withold what she was capable of. Training with Kikyo had proven she was no mere guide for the dead. Her vow of saving one village had then become twelve as the famines and diseases had spread, all of which she went on a journey to cure on her own. Kikyo refused to watch Rin walk an endless path that she believed would inevitably kill her, so they had parted ways not that long ago. Geta clacked against the grovel as she tiredly held to the basket fastened on her back.
Many of the grateful villagers from the last village had dubbed Rin a sorceress of miracle, but she was nothing more than a mortal young woman--who now lay collapsed from fatigue after she had failed to reach the suffering village up ahead.
Had fate decided that this was the price she had to pay for cheating death twofold? Cicadas sobbed in a chorus in the trees. Sunset. The maiden's vision b l u r r e d , as nimble fingers extended weakly against the dirt. Rin put up a rose colored barrier around her for protection of getting trampled as she was sure it'd be seconds til she'd fall unconscious.
Soon, the young maiden's sight of the forest had changed to a barron, blackened atmosphere. Rin weakly rose from the crater's gravel, it was much rougher than the dirt. This place was nothing like her homeland. The ground she stood on felt spherical.
"Where am I? Am I... d e a d ?" Rin asked aloud as her tired voice echoed across the empty wasteland.
Looking for a place to sleep, and finding a witch?
- Hm... Whatssup, girl! - Talked with a normal smile. Yeah, yeah, he know he don't have to be in there. That castle is just for the other members, but he really don't care. He is just looking for a place to sleep away from Saix and Xig.
You can tell a lot about someone from the type of music they listen to. Hit shuffle on your iPod/phone/iTunes/media player and write down the first 10 songs. Then pass this on to 10 people. One rule: No skipping!
Menuet by Andres Segovia
Porcelian by Marianas Trench
The Stranger by Billy Joel
A Place in This World by Taylor Swift
Seasons of Love (Rent Soundtrack)
What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong
1985 by Bowling for Soup
Show Me Love by Tatu
Faithfully by Journey
Me Against the World by Simple Plan
Okay, that was a good round on shuffle. I think that might cover the basics of my ipod. Now I have to tag 10 people, but I think everyone I know has already done this... Oh well. None of you have to do it again. :) Enjoy.

The Captain had given Xigbar specific orders to stay behind for a few extra hours to do job interviews. He had no idea who any of these people were, or what they looked like, so he had to ask each person whether they were in the station to report something, for a job interview, or for something else entirely, and it was starting to get irritating.
"What are ya here for, Ma'am?" Xigbar asks with a sigh. This was not what he was being paid for.
"...Who the heck are you...?" she seemed gentle, pure even. "You don't belong here..."
