This Litha, I gave the sun my grief. Not to cleanse it — but to burn what was never mine to carry. Sacred rage is still sacred.

To all of my baby witches on tumblr, you make my heart so happy. Thank you for all of your sweet messages on tumblr and asking when I’ll be active in the witchy community again... I am so sad I’ve been away... I’ve been lowkey dealing with grief this year and trying to make death look cute.
I have so much Magick and Witch tips to share with you all soon 💛
Witchy reminder : there’s a thin line between grief and joy, to find the Magick in both realms, pretend you are the scales of balance.
Witchy reminder :: the day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.

Hello beloveds,
Much is coming to a close.
I am so grateful for all that has transpired this year—all that has brought me closer to my heart and to each one of you witches in the Tumblr community.
I feel more real somehow, more intimate ...like there has been a lot of layers of myself that I have peeled back. I imagine there are those of you who may feel the same.
I have been in deep reflection about the year that has been. And as I have been listening and tuning in to the energies, I have felt all the moments when I was personally initiated …some of which I am still brewing into my medicine and have not been ready to share with you. Sometimes, we have to sit for a long time in the dark before we come to completion on an alchemical process.
SO MUCH has unfolded.
I have been enjoying sitting in the dark, breathing in vast and long breaths, feeling all that is being released in Her: Great Mother’s loving arms.
I am going to invite you to do the same. So here are some invitations for you:
Take some time to look back over this year.
What were some of the most challenging moments? Breathe those in and love yourself fully for having experienced them.
What did you learn/discover/remember about yourself this year?
What were some of the most amazing moments? Breathe those in and love what you were gifted with.
Who were you when you started this year and who are you now? I encourage you to sit in silence and drop out of your thinking mind and a let a symbol or image arise out of the darkness…
And finally, what are you laying to rest on Winter Solstice?
10 Days of Reflection: Day 1
Hello friends! I was really inspired by the @pathandpractice 10 days of reflection posts going around, so I figured it would be fun if I did more bloggy stuff with my blog along with informational content! While I do have a lot of projects lined up, I wont have time to work on them for at least another week. Edits have been smoothly underway with some of my older posts, so I'm excited to finish up and get started with some new content for you all. Until then!! Let the reflections begin!
Day 1 - How do you define magic? Is it energy, intention, relationship, will, or something else?
I define magic, yes as an extension of energy, but something you can channel and formulate with your will, you cultivate a relationship to it with how you perceive it. I believe magic exists within everyone and everything. However how it materializes, forms, and is utilized depends on the wielder! For my basic belief, we use this energy that we can tap into created by the universe & it is inner power that we express it/will it through our tools and efforts. I see it like tea, Its not enough to intend to make the tea. To actually do that you place your intentions to make it through energy and efforts for it to be brewed. To me, While a single huge amount of spiritual energy is wrapped through the confides of our universe, yielding it is not a universal experience! I believe in something called 'puzzle theory' that means living organisms and objects hold a piece of this spiritual energy, however can only express it within the confides of their perspective (an individual puzzle piece). So, a deer will utilize magical energy much different than a human might, same goes from person to person, ameboma to ameboma. 'is your blue, my blue, too?' We can do so much to learn and understand the piece we have, but we must remember that we cannot know the full extent of what magic is, or the picture we make with the puzzle (but that shouldn't stop us from trying).
Something else I want to mention, While that's the most basic delimitations of my perspective, I also follow aspects of Consciousness Theory, Psychological Theory, and *to an extent* Biological Theory. I tend to blend everything almost into a Syncretic Theory! Granted, all of these are cherry picked for what resonated in my system, have their own pro's and con's, so over the years I have meshed a lot of perspectives into one! I believe magic is found in our will to shape the world around us in consciousness and psychological theory, I believe each persons own body and perspective can shape biological theory, but at the end of the day for me it all comes down to energy. That was really fun! I hope to share again with you all on day 2!! Fair winds friends!
A thought for new witches
I was just reflecting on my early days just starting out with witchcraft and looking through the first grimoire I started (and abandoned for a much better one), and honestly almost laughed and was like “Wow I was such a weak ass witch that didn’t know anything” and I really think that is a good thing. Hear me out- for me to be able to recognize that made me realize how much I have learned, grown as a person, and improved my craft. So for anyone who is starting out and feels like they aren’t improving- you will over time, and one day you will look back and realize you’ve grown more than you ever anticipated.
