i just watched the first ep of that last night! REALLY impressive visuals.
i KNOW right?!?! it’s just consistently so breathtaking the way they make the landscape into its own character almost. i say this every time i watch something shot in New Zealand but...it makes me wanna move there so badly!!!! gah.
you are one of the most hilarious people I know!!! like you have such an amazing dry wit, guys tend to have more of a bash your head with the joke kind of style which is completely obnoxious
You are an angel!!! <3 FUNNYGATE UPDATE AND REPLIES UNDER THE CUT
Ok, so I emailed him back: EXCUSE YOU I’M HILARIOUS also I [announcement of minor professional accomplishment] so I’m also brilliant :D
He then emailed me: Congrats! I always knew you were brilliant, though. But your humor needs some work.
I WOULD BE MAD IF I DIDN’T KNOW HE WAS SPEAKING FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE BC YOU GUYS ALREADY KILLED HIM.

I didn’t get the socialisation that stops me from telling men they’re not funny; I spend a lot of time getting yelled at by strange men.

conditioned politeness is totally a thing! but taking baby steps like simply, quietly not laughing at a man’s unfunny joke can feel SO satisfying. and yay!! :D

i do enjoy Aggressively Not Laughing when i don’t like the dude or if the joke is offensive. idk what to do when i like the dude though - h8 conditioned politeness
You are all inspirations and give me hope for the future :DDD
