LMAO fair. how is the show on the whole? i've been meaning to start it but haven't yet.
the first few episodes are badly paced and then it improves a lot once it gets to new york, but it’s still faintly infuriating because fitzgerald is a one note needy garbage fire. HOWEVER it’s very beautiful and I like Christina Ricci a lot. also i feel like there is a huge advantage to having a soundtrack that must by necessity be 90% jazz. i’m two episodes from the end and i would def recommend a watch, particularly because i want to encourage amazon + everywhere else to keep making this kind of content !

last night i had a dream that @dedaumier had written a play and was workshopping it at a festival off somewhere rural. she’d cast a bunch of her friends in it, including me, and we all lived in cabins on site near the theatre. i don’t remember a thing about what the play was about but i do remember that at one point a bunch of us were all sitting in her cabin hanging out and she was incredibly stressed out because there were producers interested in the show but they wanted her to “MAKE IT GAYER” and she was all distraught and kept insisting, “it can’t possibly get gayer than it already is!!!”
