Why he is amazing

He are very supportive of everything I do 

He has very good morals

He was the first person I came out to and even tho he didn’t understand everything he was still supportive and didn’t like hate me

he loves defending his friends and what’s right

There is so so much more but I feel like he probably wants me to stop by now so I’ll stop lol

You know, there is something amazing about watching a show in a vacuum, because you don’t get any of the fandom until later.

For example I am only now discovering the wide array of white people Doctor Who fans ship Clara with, even though she made her feelings about romantic anything now that Danny is dead really known.

It is almost as if when a fandom fave literally explicitly says “this black man is the love of my life, and with him dead my ability to experience romantic love is gone” the entire fandom fails to hear any of it.

When she becomes basically suicidal for an entire season following his death, her arc now being how she is getting darker and is constantly taking risks that could (and eventually do) get her killed... you still ship her with various white characters she interacts with.

Was it healthy for Clara to state that Danny Pink was the only person she would ever love? No. But she did, she said that over and over and over again on the show. Given that she died within a year of his death, it feels really dodgy to me to see so many fanworks about her and Twelve. Beyond dodgy.

Fuck, even shipping her with Ashildr feels dodgy (unless a long long time has gone by to explain Clara’s grief lessening).

Clara Oswald made it rather clear that she only loves Danny Pink. Period. Or did you miss the twenty thousand times she literally said on screen variants of “you are the only person I will ever say ‘I Love You’ to.” 

Or when she told the Doctor she would destroy the TARDIS if it got her Danny back, how hard she fought to turn death around, and how in the end she was forced to accept that Danny wanted to save the life of the child he’d killed when he was in the army more than he wanted to be alive, and since that was part of why she loved him she had to accept he’d given the chance she’d won him away.

TLDR: WHY THE FUCK DO I KEEP SEEING SO MANY FANWORKS SHIPPING CLARA AND THE DOCTOR????????????????
