I’d probably fake date Ginny because I could totally see us being mates that get into weird and ridiculous situations that require us to pretend we’re together until we inevitably fall in love

Slow burn with Fleur because wowza, smoldering glances across the great hall, both of us wanting to ask each other to the Yule Ball but chickening out, finally, maybe reaching a point where we can get together but the school year ends and she’s going back to France. A couple years go by as pen pals writing vague love letters that could be misinterpreted as words of deep friendship until we run into each other by chance and the rest is history

DEFINITELY enemies to lovers with Hermione. Not like battle-to-the-death enemies, but rivals at school. I am wayyyyy too extra about my studies, and we would totally battle it out for top grades, be giving each other dirty looks across classrooms, until suddenly we’re having late night rendezvous in the library and trading books we think the other will like, leaving each other sweet little notes and bringing each other tea with wishes of luck on upcoming exams because we stopped caring who did better as long as we helped each other so well

i've been thinking about which character other people think i am most like and what character i identify with most. so you know how on fb people would post an image of all the characters from something and tag their friends? well i was always tagged as harry potter and underneath it always said "the misunderstood one" (oops found the image WTF warning these are all terrible). so i never really understood why i was always tagged as that? i mean looking back i think was misunderstood or perhaps just wasn't open with who i felt i was or wanted to be (like i wasn't out or anything like that, but how would that have caused them to see me as misunderstood?)

so i get to goblet of fire and i am reminded of something that i did in eighth grade. soooo the final trailer was released a few weeks before my school's fall dance. i had never been to a school dance before nor had i ever had a boyfriend. i was best friends with this girl he dated the year before but also best friends with another girl i had known since i was 4 who, when i moved away for a year in 3rd grade, had befriended some popular girls who i never quite got on with. in middle school i felt like i had a chance. i felt like i needed to prove that i wanted to go to this dance and i felt like i had to make everyone think i wanted to go with a guy. side note: this was when unfabulous was on air and addie momentarily became popular with maris. that was like MY BIBLE for attempting to be cool in middle school which makes no sense. not like we were cool because both this guy and i were clarinet players. BUT i wrote him a note that said "i was just wondering if you maybe wanted to go to the dance with me" which is exactly what harry said to cho (except he said ball and not dance) in that damn trailer. it was awkward. he took over a week to give me an answer, but said yes. we said hi and spent maybe 10 minutes together at the dance before going our separate ways. my friend who had dated him also told me she was uncomfortable with it and i was like FINALLY A REASON TO STOP TRYING TO PURSUE THIS GUY. the rest of the year i had a crush on a very tiny redhead boy who played the oboe. i creepily cherished a pen he lent to me. and at the very end of the year a random in my science class gave me a rose and i ran away.

so yeah, i am harry. i'm just kidding i have no fucking clue who i identify with most. my friend just told me i'm crookshanks. what does that even mean.

You know that feeling when you've reached the end of a book or the last of a series of books and you just keep delaying or slowing down to read it because you know that that's it, the final ending. And no matter what happens, that after you've read it, you know that you can never find that joy, that certain happiness or bliss you've had when reading that book.
