I REALLY love how the Thunderbolts* visual artists handled the Void character - menacing and cold, but not somehow not malicious? (iirc.) and how they literally made him a solid black void with just enough highlights to show he has physical form, but at the same time, making you question if he actually does.

I keep wondering how they did it in the studio - obviously he was green-screened with some digital magicking involved, but most cameras don't work well in low lighting so they had to be very, very deliberate about how they lit him and the environment

(and I am absolutely feral about the little head tilt that he does - how it conveys so much with just the orientation of the glint of his eyes, no facial expressions or change in posture involved. and the way it makes the shot compositions have more visual flow. gaaaahhhhh)

in city of spires/wreck of the titan the sixth doctor is literally slamming the being in love with jamie button so hard it’s unreal... and like he gets soft about it too he gets sappy and flustered and more humble than he usually is and he’s just adoring.. he’s like “let’s hold hands and get dressed up fancy and go to a posh party together... ilysm jamie 🥺”
