Person online: I don’t ship Bob and Yelena together.

Me: That’s okay.

Person: Yeah I see them as only friends verging on siblings.

Me: Hey to each their own. You do you my dude.

Person: And when you think about it, Bob is depressed or like schizophrenic or whatever. He’s sort of mentally defective so Yelena would just have to be his caretaker/mother figure. She deserves to be with someone mature enough to have fun with her and who can understand her.

I had a thought, and it's cute, so imma say it.

Bob's little reading nook in the post credit scene is very clearly a space that was made for him to be comfortable in. Little table, in front of the windows, on a ledge. With a comfy chair.

A very big and probably heavy chair.

What I'm getting at is that I think a super soldier carried that chair there for him, and no matter which one was this shit's adorable.

I love how each of the Thunderbolts approaches Bob differently during the final scene of the shame room. Yelena goes for a hug while he continues to attack, making sure he knows she's there. John latches onto Bob's arm, keeping Bob from further attacking himself, before he leans back in for the hug. Bucky covers both Yelena and Bob, mixing her and John's approaches. When Alexei goes to comfort Bob, he ends up hugging Yelena, too. Ava places herself right between Yelena and John.

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but...Bob Reynolds would totally sit and watch those carpet-cleaning videos with you for hours. I'm sure you've seen them at this point (I hope you have or else I'm more of a mess than I thought) but like the ones where some guy walks in on a white tile floor and throws a filthy carpet down and they clean it deeply and desperately until it looks nearly new somehow.

Bob is just in a total trance. Not only is he absolutely amazed that someone could get a carpet THAT dirty clean again but he's just happy to be spending time with you.

Oh my god...He totally makes comments the first few times too like; "There's no way...why don't they just buy a new carpet?" But after the fourth video, he starts hyping them up.

Anyways...just my little bedtime thought. Kisses 💋

thunderbolts and what hogwarts houses I think they’d be in… (ft. bucky, yelena, bob & john)

bucky is a gryffindor 100%. that man is loyal to a fault and would definitely do stupid things for his friends like any true gryffindor would. he’s brave and headstrong but sometimes doesn’t think things through before he does them (also like a true gryffindor). probably feels like he’s not good at making friends so he values friendship above all else

yelena I think is a hufflepuff! while she’s not exactly overly soft or humble, she’s kind and loyal where it matters. she’s empathetic too (even if she doesn’t always show it) which I associate with hufflepuffs, but won’t let anyone walk over her or the people she loves

I think bob is also a hufflepuff!! him and yelena are like siblings in my head, even though they have quite different personalities, they exude the same hufflepuff vibes to me. they both give “looks like a cinnamon roll but could kill you”

john is defffinitely a slytherin!! not just because it’s the villian house (a stupid stereotype let’s be honest) but because he’s ambitious and protective. but he’s also so arrogant and has way too big an ego. could be gryffindor as well but slyhterin feels right to me

+ bonus!! I think ava is a ravenclaw and alexei is a gryffindor. based on vibes alone

I don’t know, I really like the idea that Bob is just in Yelena’s head. And that’s why John is so sarcastic to him, and constantly uses his name when speaking to him. It’s almost like he can’t see him and is mocking Yelena’s imagination.

So I love this visual thing they did at the very end of Thunderbolts:

In the final stinger, the movie's film crew used soft, diffused lights with soft shadows for everyone... except Bob.

They filmed Bob in strong, directional lighting, giving him a literal 'dark side'.

I guess you could say it's... foreshadowing
